Learners Licence Course
What does this course cover?
It is a theory course to educate candidates on Road Signs, Rules of the Road and vehicle controls. It includes a presentation, tutorial computer program that covers a summary of the learning material and built-in mock tests to prepare candidates to obtain a valid LL. Candidates will need to obtain an average of 80-85% for the mock tests to be ready to do the actual test at a DLTC.
Where and when are these classes?
At our office at Rietvlei on Saturdays 8:30 to 12:30, weekdays 13:00 to 16:00.
Driving Lessons
DRIVING LESSONS (MDL) within 15 km radius from our office
- Manual transmission Vehicle – On the Road driving Lessons and yard lessons includes pick up and drop off from home/school/work.
- Automatic Transmission Lessons.
DRIVING LESSONS (MDL>20km) further than 20 km radius from our office
- Will be charged at an additional rate
Learners License
(option 1)- 4 Hour Learners Licence Half Course (LLHC)

- 2 hour Pre-test session
- Feedback and results of in-house tests provided
Driving Lessons
(package A)
valid for 6 months
- Manual or Automatic vehicle
- 5 hours on the road lessons
- 5 hours yard training
- (parking, alley docking, incline start & 3-point turn)
- Excludes vehicle hire for test + a lesson
- (priced based on the DLTC location)
- The test lasts 3-5 hours; extra waiting time is charged per hour
- DLTC fees payable to the testing station to book the test R228 + another R228 for licence issue when you pass the test
